GREG POWERS CONSTRUCTION

A lifetime of learning to master the trade.

I can’t recall when I chose to be a carpenter or a remodeler. As a child this type of work was all around me which led to my desire to learn more. Trade school, college, years of hands-on experience, books, trade shows, continuing education, but best of all, Mentors. As I became a better craftsmen my love for building grew to the point where I am today, ready to share my craft with the world, or at least this part of the world.

I realized about half way through my career that I enjoyed the hands on portion of remodeling more than the administrative portion. I learned this through years of project management for the Federal Government and for local contractors. Then I said “oh I know, I’ll perform the work for the biggest names in Columbus for remodeling. I was shocked to realize that it was a numbers game for most of them, not a love for the craft and the end products that clients paid exorbitant amounts of money to have done showed. I now realize what I did not in my youth, that in order to get a stellar result when building you need honest sales, thoughtful design, and a true professional executing. I hope I can execute the remodel of your dreams for you, or maybe just do a really good job at a bathroom refresh.
